FARO Visual Communication

本郷の街を見守り続けてきた登録有形文化財「エチソウビル」。その204号室に位置する「めしと珈琲 FARO」は、築90年の記憶を丁寧に発掘し、現代の感性と融和させた静かな空間です。 糸問屋時代から続く床や、新しく配されたラワン材が醸し出す独特の雰囲気の中、音楽イベントやワークショップを通じた「学び」の場がひっそりと開かれています。今回は、植物の有用性を探る蒸留プロセスの記録映像と、SNS用のグラフィックを制作。長い年月を経た建物が持つ独特の静寂と、そこで交わされる新たな試みを、記録しました。 - Located in Room 204 of the historic Echi-so Building, "FARO" (a dining and coffee space) is a quiet sanctuary where 90 years of architectural memory has been carefully preserved and harmonized with modern sensibility. Amidst the unique atmosphere of original floors from its days as a thread wholesaler and newly added lauan wood, the venue occasionally hosts intimate gatherings for music and workshops. For this project, I documented the botanical distillation process, creating a film and social media graphics. This work serves as a record of both the profound silence of the historic structure and the subtle warmth of the new experiments taking place within.
